Eligibility for Admission to MD MS course in Ayurvedic Medical Colleges of Karnataka under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore.

Admission in Ayurvedic colleges in Karnataka for PG MD MS Ayurveda courses are done as per the norms of Rajiv Gandhi University of health science and CCIM, Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi. Below given is basic admission eligibility students must satisfy in order to apply for PG Ayurveda admission.

Eligibility criteria for MD MS Admission

To pursue MD/MS Ayurveda (Postgraduate courses in Ayurveda) in 2025, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria as per NCISM (National Commission for Indian System of Medicine) and AYUSH guidelines:

  • Must have a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree from a recognized university/college.
  • Must have completed 1-year compulsory internship by 31st March 2025 (or as per the cutoff date specified for the admission year).

Registration

  • Must be registered with the State Ayurvedic Council/NCISM.

NEET-AYUSH PG Qualification:

  • Must qualify NEET-AYUSH PG 2025 (conducted by NTA).
  • Minimum qualifying percentile (2024 reference):
    1. General/OBC: 50th percentile
    2. SC/ST/EWS: 40th percentile
    3. PwD: 45th percentile

Admission Process (2025)

  • Central & State Counselling:
    1. All India Quota (AIQ) 50% seats: Through AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC).
    2. State Quota 50% seats: Conducted by Karnataka AYUSH (for Bangalore colleges).
    3. PwD: 45th percentile
  • Steps:
    1. Clear NEET-AYUSH PG 2025.
    2. Register for AACCC (for AIQ) or State Counseling (Karnataka).
    3. Choice filling & seat allotment.
    4. Document verification & admission.

  • BAMS degree & internship completion certificate
  • NEET-AYUSH PG 2025 scorecard
  • Registration certificate (State Ayurvedic Council/NCISM)
